Internet Explorer 11 No Longer Supported by Alarm.com Mobile App
In the ongoing efforts of Alarm.com to ensure our GenX Security customers have the best experience with the Alarm.com mobile app and Customer Website, we need to inform you that Alarm.com will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) in the very near future.
Starting Tuesday, May 26, 2020, any cutomer who logs into Alarm.com using IE11 will see on their screen a quick, simple pop-up message encouraging a switch to a more optimal browser. One month following the pop-up message, users will no longer be able to log in on IE11. We suggest that all of our GenX Security customers use any of the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, or Microsoft Edge and upgrade from IE11 as soon as possible! Using the latest web browsers will enhance your experience with your Alarm.com system so you can use the latest features and updates without interruptions!
